Tripletex integration for Shopify
The Tripletex integration sends paid Shopify orders to Tripletex as orders and invoices, per order or as a monthly consolidated voucher. Refunds become credit notes. The flow is one-way: Shopify sells, Tripletex does the accounting, inventory stays in Shopify. It runs as a Make.com scenario in your account, and invoices are created but not sent until your accountant reviews them.

What it is
Tripletex is a Norwegian cloud accounting system for small and mid-sized companies. The integration makes Shopify the sales channel and Tripletex the accounting system, so nobody keys in orders. Customers and products are created in Tripletex the first time they appear, and reused after that. Customers are looked up by email for B2C and by organisation number for B2B.
Why it matters
Manual bookkeeping of online orders is the most common source of discrepancies in the VAT return. With the integration, the accountant gets correct records every day, with the Shopify order number as the reference on every invoice and credit note. The invoice is created but not sent automatically, so the accountant stays in control.

How we implement it
- 01MappingChart of accounts, VAT codes, customer groups, and whether you want an invoice per order or a consolidated voucher per month. One working session with your accountant.
- 02Setup in Make.comAPI token from Tripletex, connection in your Make account, scenario from our template with customer and product lookup.
- 03Test on real ordersThe first orders through the whole flow. The accountant approves the invoices before they are sent.
- 04Go-live and monitoringWe follow the first weeks. Failed runs are visible in the Make history and flagged with the order number.
Frequently asked questions
Can we use Tripletex's own Shopify app instead?
+–
Yes, for simple B2C stores. Our integration is for those who need consolidated vouchers, B2B invoices with organisation numbers, EDI via Omnium, custom VAT and account mapping, or invoicing triggered by something other than checkout.
Do you sync inventory from Tripletex to Shopify?
+–
No. Shopify is the source of truth for inventory in this integration. If you need inventory management across channels, Omnium or Holio is the right tool, and we connect those.
Are invoices sent to the customer automatically?
+–
No. The invoice is created in Tripletex, and the accountant sends it or sets up Tripletex's own sending. That is a deliberate choice.
Do we own the Make.com scenario?
+–
Yes. The scenario and the connections live in your Make account. We run it if you want, but you are not locked in.
- 24SevenOffice and Finago integration for ShopifyThe 24SevenOffice integration creates an invoice in 24SevenOffice for every paid Shopify order, with customer, lines, shipping and sales type, and registers the payment against the method the order was paid with. Refunds in Shopify become credit notes. The flow runs one way from Shopify as a Make.com scenario in your account, with REST for invoices and SOAP for payments.
- PowerOffice Go integration for ShopifyThe PowerOffice Go integration posts Shopify sales as a journal voucher in PowerOffice Go, split by revenue account per country and clearing account per payment method, instead of an invoice per customer. Refunds are posted as reversals. It suits B2C stores whose accountant wants clean, consolidated vouchers, and runs as a Make.com scenario in your account, weekly or monthly.
- Omnium integration for ShopifyThe Omnium integration makes Omnium the order and inventory system for Shopify: orders go in, stock per location comes back, and products can be published from Omnium. EDI orders from Coop, XXL and Sport Holding land in Omnium and flow to Tripletex with GLN and cash discount. We set up Omnium's Shopify connector and build the EDI flow in Make.com.

- ERP and financeAn accounting integration moves paid orders from Shopify to the accounting system as an invoice, sales voucher or journal, with customer, VAT and shipping on the right account. Refunds become credit notes. We run this against Tripletex, 24SevenOffice, PowerOffice Go and Fiken, as Make.com scenarios in your own account. Invoices are not sent before your accountant has seen them.
- Shopify connected to the systems you already useA Shopify integration connects the store to the systems that run the rest of the company: accounting, order management, warehouse, shipping, payments and marketing. We build them in Make.com when the flow should be visible and easy to change, and in code when volume or logic requires it. Documented data flow, and the scenario lives in your own account.
