Podio bookings to Shopify
The Podio integration turns bookings in Podio into orders in Shopify, sends cancellations back to Podio, and triggers an invoice in Tripletex when the rental has been delivered, not when it was booked. It runs as Make.com flows with a payment link, shipping labels via Profrakt and lookups by email.

What it is
Podio is a flexible work tool used as a booking system. Shopify is the payment and the entry point to the accounts. The flow keeps them in step.
Why it matters
Rentals do not follow the checkout's rhythm. Payment, delivery and invoicing happen on different days, and each step has to hit the right system.
What flows
| Data | Direction | When | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| booking → draft order + payment link | podio → shopify | real time | |
| cancellation | shopify → podio | real time | |
| invoice 72 h after delivery | podio → tripletex | daily |
How we implement it
- 01MappingWhat should flow between Shopify and Podio, which system is the source of truth for what, and what happens on errors. One working session.
- 02SetupConnection in your own account, field mapping, and test data through the whole flow.
- 03Test on real dataThe first orders or products are followed manually before we switch everything on.
- 04Go-live and monitoringWe follow the first weeks. Errors are flagged with a reference to the order.
Frequently asked questions
Do we own the Podio integration ourselves?
+–
Yes. Make.com scenarios live in your account, and code is delivered with source. We run it for you if you want, but you are not locked in to us.
What happens when a run fails?
+–
Every run is in the history with input and output data. Errors are flagged with a reference, and we clean up together. There is no automatic rollback, and we say so plainly.
Can we start with bookings and expand later?
+–
Yes. Most start with one flow, such as orders, and add inventory or customers afterwards.
How long does setup take?
+–
Make.com flows are delivered in days once mapping is done. Custom code takes longer, and we give a timeline after the first call.
- Profrakt integration for ShopifyThe Profrakt integration orders a shipping label from Profrakt when an order or booking is ready, and writes the tracking number back to the shipment. It runs as a Make.com flow and can be triggered from Shopify, or from another system such as Podio when a rental is due to ship, not when it is booked.
- Tripletex integration for ShopifyThe Tripletex integration sends paid Shopify orders to Tripletex as orders and invoices, per order or as a monthly consolidated voucher. Refunds become credit notes. The flow is one-way: Shopify sells, Tripletex does the accounting, inventory stays in Shopify. It runs as a Make.com scenario in your account, and invoices are created but not sent until your accountant reviews them.

- Booking and otherFor when the sale starts somewhere other than checkout. Bookings from Podio and IZY become Shopify orders, users are created in Moodle when a course is bought, and form submissions land in Google Sheets. Make.com flows that are easy to read and change.
- Shopify connected to the systems you already useA Shopify integration connects the store to the systems that run the rest of the company: accounting, order management, warehouse, shipping, payments and marketing. We build them in Make.com when the flow should be visible and easy to change, and in code when volume or logic requires it. Documented data flow, and the scenario lives in your own account.
