Visma.net integration for Shopify
The Visma.net integration connects Visma.net ERP to Shopify so that products, prices and inventory come from the ERP, and orders and customers go back as sales orders. We build the flow against the Visma.net API, with queue and retry, because the volume and error handling in ERP projects demand it. Invoicing and delivery are managed in Visma.net.
- 01 visma.net → shopify
products + inventory · every 15 min - 02 shopify → visma.net
orders + customers · real time
What it is
Visma.net is Visma's cloud ERP for mid-sized companies, with its own API for products, inventory, customers and sales orders.
Why it matters
With the ERP as the source of truth, the online store has to update when stock changes, and orders have to reach the ERP without anyone keying them in.
What flows
| Data | Direction | When | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| products + inventory | visma.net → shopify | every 15 min | |
| orders + customers | shopify → visma.net | real time |
How we implement it
- 01MappingWhat should flow between Shopify and Visma.net, which system is the source of truth for what, and what happens on errors. One working session.
- 02SetupConnection in your own account, field mapping, and test data through the whole flow.
- 03Test on real dataThe first orders or products are followed manually before we switch everything on.
- 04Go-live and monitoringWe follow the first weeks. Errors are flagged with a reference to the order.
Frequently asked questions
Do we own the Visma.net integration ourselves?
+–
Yes. Make.com scenarios live in your own account, and code is delivered with source. We run it if you want, but you are not locked in to us.
What happens when a run fails?
+–
Every run is kept in the history with input and output. Errors are flagged with a reference, and we clean up together. There is no automatic rollback, and we say so plainly.
Can we start with the ERP and expand later?
+–
Yes. Most start with one flow, such as orders, and add inventory or customers later.
How long does setup take?
+–
Make.com flows are delivered in days once the mapping session is done. Custom code takes longer, and we give you a timeline after the first call.
- Business Central integration for ShopifyThe Business Central integration connects Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to Shopify with Microsoft's own Shopify connector. Items, prices and stock come from the ERP, orders and customers go back, and invoices are created in Business Central. We map item groups, locations and payment methods, set up the connector and test the whole flow before go-live.
- Tripletex integration for ShopifyThe Tripletex integration sends paid Shopify orders to Tripletex as orders and invoices, per order or as a monthly consolidated voucher. Refunds become credit notes. The flow is one-way: Shopify sells, Tripletex does the accounting, inventory stays in Shopify. It runs as a Make.com scenario in your account, and invoices are created but not sent until your accountant reviews them.

- ERP and financeAn accounting integration moves paid orders from Shopify to the accounting system as an invoice, sales voucher or journal, with customer, VAT and shipping on the right account. Refunds become credit notes. We run this against Tripletex, 24SevenOffice, PowerOffice Go and Fiken, as Make.com scenarios in your own account. Invoices are not sent before your accountant has seen them.
- Shopify connected to the systems you already useA Shopify integration connects the store to the systems that run the rest of the company: accounting, order management, warehouse, shipping, payments and marketing. We build them in Make.com when the flow should be visible and easy to change, and in code when volume or logic requires it. Documented data flow, and the scenario lives in your own account.
